Since beginning my work as a psychiatric nurse practitioner in 2015, I have been dedicated to supporting adults facing challenges such as food addiction, depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, or bipolar disorder/mood disorders. I believe in building lasting therapeutic relationships with my clients, taking the time to understand their unique circumstances and symptoms, and together creating a treatment plan.
My approach involves utilizing prescribed medications as a tool to address symptoms while acknowledging the vital connection between the mind and body and incorporating holistic methods to promote mental well-being. This may involve evaluating your gut health, which plays a significant role in mental health, and conducting lab tests.
Having personally confronted depression, anxiety, and the impact of a Lyme disease diagnosis on mental health, as well as serving in the Army, my life experiences have shaped me into a more empathetic practitioner, equipping me to support others on their path to healing.
