Hello! My name is Adele and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and owner of MorenaMinds Counseling LLC. I spent ten years working in Education and am now excited to provide a space for educators to turn that care and compassion they show others onto themselves. My specialties include working with Latine populations on generational trauma, depression, social anxiety, and identifying ways to challenge imposter syndrome.

My person-centered approach allows me to use your lived experiences as the foundation of your treatment. With my background in trauma, I believe working with the body is essential. I want to make sure you feel safe, not only in my session space but in your own body. As I help you develop safety, I also address unhelpful thinking processes.

The first meeting is always about "feeling it out" and noticing how comfortable you are while we talk. It is important that you leave our first session feeling heard, validated, and empowered. I will spend the session getting to know you and ensuring we are a good fit. I hope to hear from you to get started on your healing journey.
