I'm glad you're here. Seeking therapy is a brave move, and I'd be honored to support you. I help people seeking: a supportive space to explore your identities; a better relationship with loved ones; help with parenting or co-parenting; help managing the stress of leadership, and social & climate justice work; healing from intergenerational trauma; finding and holding onto hope; as well as other challenges that life brings. I specialize in therapy to improve relationships, both with others as well as with ourselves. Together, we’ll get clear on the change you’re hoping for and the steps we need to take in order to get there.
A typical session starts with a short check-in on how you’re (really) feeling, then I give my ideas about what we may work on and invite your input. We talk and I ask questions to help you go deeper, consider things differently, and see where you might want to make small changes. I often offer activities to go beyond talking, in sessions & for homework.
My approach is attuned to what often goes unsaid between us: power dynamics related to gender, race, & sexuality; stories we’ve been told about how we’re supposed to be; and deep wounds throughout our family trees. I am authentic, kind, and respectful of your dignity and choice. Please feel free to reach out & see if I’d be a good fit.
