I utilize a warm and collaborative approach to help child and adolescent clients develop effective coping skills, replace maladaptive behaviors, and ultimately achieve greater satisfaction in their lives. Parents have a central role in their children's wellbeing; therefore, I highly value their involvement in the therapeutic process. In addition to individual therapy for pediatric clients, I offer parent training, family sessions, and collaborate with teachers and other healthcare providers as needed in order to coordinate care.
I am a licensed psychologist, specializing in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). I also draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and other evidence-based approaches to treat a wide range of emotional and behavioral difficulties, including anxiety, depression, executive function deficits, self-esteem, adjustment, social, and family issues.
I enjoy building warm and supportive working relationships with clients and working as a team to achieve their goals. Having prior experience in school settings, I am also able to support families navigating the world of special education.
