I will work with anyone who is willing to strive for change. My main areas of focus are trauma, dissociation and anxiety. Working for 13 years in a variety of settings gave me experience with a multitude of diagnoses and problems. I recently was trained and will obtain my certification in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) through EMDR Consulting. I have also completed some advanced training on CPTSD (Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) and structural dissociation utilizing EMDR and IFS (Internal Family Systems).
As an Art Therapist and Licensed Mental Health Counselor, I use art with any client who is open to the experience. I always say, art is about the process, not the product. Significant focuses of my practice are giving useful tools, grounding, stabilization and EMDR.
Getting to know my clients personally, assists my clients' change by building off their personal strengths.
