Education & Clinical Experience: An Arizona native, Dr. Montoya graduated from Point Loma Nazarene University with a degree in Psychology. She earned her doctorate in Counseling Psychology from Colorado State University. Dr. Montoya completed her APA-accredited internship at the University of Utah Neuropsychiatric Institute (UNI) in Salt Lake City, Utah, where she specialized in child and adolescent clinical psychology.
Services Provided: Dr. Montoya provides assessment, individual, family, and group therapy services. Common treatment modalities include: parent training, behavior therapy, cognitive-behavior therapy, and social skills training. Common presenting issues include: ADHD, disruptive behavior disorders, mood disorders, anxiety, and autism spectrum disorders.
