As a therapist I create a safe and non-judgmental space where you will feel validated and supported. From a collaborative and strength-based approach, I am passionate about working with individuals, couples, and families to enrich and deepen their connections to those who matter most. I focus on resolving issues related to breakdowns in communication and life transitions including marriage, separation, illness, loss, pregnancy and the birth of a child. I believe that through therapy, ruptures can be repaired, and couples and families can navigate tumultuous times with greater ease, connection and grace.
I completed an extensive post-graduate training program at the Ackerman Institute for the Family and have over 8 years of experience working in hospital and school-based settings, helping individuals and families navigating chronic illness, adjustment disorders, anxiety, depression, and difficult family relationships.
With compassion and empathy, I practice with the philosophy that people make positive change when they feel empowered, hopeful, and understood by the people closest to them. I look forward to working with you, and helping you find greater meaning and richness in your relationships.
