I specialize in obsessive-compulsive disorders (OCD, BDD, BFRBs, illness anxiety disorder), misophonia, and anxiety. I have several of these conditions myself, and have benefited greatly from the same treatments I now provide for others. My work is very personally rewarding - I love seeing my clients experience symptom relief and turn their attention back to the things that matter most.
I am trained in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), exposure and response prevention (ERP), and the comprehensive model for behavioral treatment (ComB). These treatments don't work for everything, but I have seen them work over and over for the conditions listed above.
If you'd like to book a free 20-minute consultation call so we see if we're a good fit, you can open my website, click on "Request Appointment," and choose a time. You can also find referrals to other OCD/anxiety providers on my website if you'd like to explore other options. NOTE: on medical leave until approximately 9/18/2024.

Over 90 percent of my clients have OCD. Many have co-occurring obsessive-compulsive conditions (BDD, BFRBs) or anxiety disorders (phobias, social anxiety, panic attacks). The treatment is quite similar for all of them! I use CBT for any additional issues, and if you need help with something outside these areas of expertise, I have a referral network of specialists who are truly excellent.

I primarily use exposure and response prevention (ERP). Basically, we create a set of experiments so your brain can gradually test out what happens when it faces your specific trigger situations without your compulsions/"safety behaviors." Maybe, just maybe, your safety behaviors are making those situations more distressing than they need to be, and you're better off without them. Let's find out!
