How do we deeply explore the difficult parts of ourselves with self-compassion and acceptance, while at the same time stretching to grow, evolve, and heal? Can we dare to live our lives in a way that realizes our full potential and what holds us back from doing so? It can be difficult to explore this all alone. In a gentle, nonjudgmental, and collaborative way, I provide support for my clients on their journey to become more fully themselves.
A wealth of life experience informs my practice of psychotherapy bringing insight into lifecycle issues, struggles in finding oneself through a meaningful career, finding one’s partner, parenting, caring for aging family members as well as grief and loss. As an immigrant myself, I am also interested in the issues surrounding dual cultural identities.
I bring psychodynamic, humanistic, and strength-based approaches to therapy and together we will create a safe space that fosters honesty and self-acceptance. I work with people with depression, anxiety, and trauma and have seen how given support people are able to thrive both despite and because of their individual challenges.
