I am a Licensed Psychologist specialized in individual, couples, family, and group psychotherapy. I use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and psychodynamic theory to guide treatment in my private practice at NYU Psychiatry Associates. I see individuals and lead skills groups for those seeking help with emotion dysregulation, interpersonal difficulties, and crisis management. My interests also lie in working with anxiety and depressive symptoms associated with infertility, pregnancy, and work-family balance.
I received my Doctorate in Psychology from Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology at Yeshiva University, where I worked in different hospital settings (St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital and NYU Medical Center) and college counseling centers.
I completed my pre- and post-doctoral internship and fellowship and Columbia University Medical Center.
I conduct psychotherapy in English and Portuguese.
