Aspire Counseling is a small group practice in Westport CT that works with adolescents and adults dealing with Mental Health and Addiction issues. It was started by Liz Modugno in 2012. She specializes in trauma, addiction and mental health and created a practice that addresses all of these. There are several therapists that can meet with clients and address their specific goals. The core work at Aspire is trauma therapy and how life events have contribute to unwanted and unhealthy behaviors, symptoms, and life circumstances. We work closely with other providers including APRNs, psychiatrists, schools and other community providers.
Therapy is an intimate process. We offer group and individual therapy and offer a wide range of in-person, virtual, day and evening appointments. All staff are EMDR trained and work with clients who have trauma issues. In addition to EMDR, most staff also specialize in CBT, DBT and other therapeutic modalities.
