Hello! I am a gender specialist with experience in treating individuals with depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress, intellectual disabilities, eating disorders, sexual dysfunctions, schizophrenia, bipolar, and personality disorders. I began my training in an intensive outpatient program serving youth struggling with suicide and self-harming behaviors. I have worked in hospital settings, university-based clinics, community mental health, and private practice. In addition to my clinical work, I am completing a Ph.D. in Human Development & Family Science at Auburn University.
I believe that change begins in the body. Through physical activity, nutrition, sleep hygiene, and mindfulness practices like meditation, individuals can begin to regain a sense of control over their lives and experience more peace.
