When we’re stuck in a rut and all of our efforts to make things better just don’t seem to work or we’ve lost the energy to care, counseling can be a great first step towards positive change. Feeling safe, understood, and valued in an unpredictable world can be a daily challenge and everyone needs a supportive place to reflect and gain new insight.
Each individual’s journey towards mental well-being is unique, which is why I offer several effective evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address diverse mental health concerns. I primarily utilize Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT).
As a licensed therapist with more than two decades of advocacy work, I aim to create a safe, non-judgemental place that allows you to fully express your authentic self. Whether shaped by constructs of race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, neurodiversity or body ableness, each person's unique life experiences are valued and affirmed.
