I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor and I graduated from the University of Central Arkansas with a Master's in Counseling Psychology. I have experience working with all age ranges in a variety of settings, and have worked with mental health issues such as but not limited to depression, anxiety, trauma-related issues, ADHD, anger management, behavioral issues, grief, relational and adjustment issues. Also, I'm LGBT friendly and have experience working with issues specific to that community.
Primarily, my counseling approach is client-centered/ humanistic, but I tend to integrate other approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused therapy. I am currently undergoing training in Trauma-Focused CBT as well. I firmly believe in the power/ and importance of the therapeutic relationship as well as unconditional positive regard.
