I am most passionate about working with adults dealing with relationship, family, phase of life and communication issues, parenting issues, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, adoption, disordered eating, generational trauma and more. I use humor and a humanistic collaborative approach to help you achieve your therapy goals.
We work at your pace and I offer light challenging along the way to encourage change and growth. I utilize multiple therapeutic interventions and approaches in my sessions. Some of these include active listening, solution-focused, strengths-based, relaxation and mindfulness-based techniques, as well as elements of somatic experiencing and CBT.
As we move through our sessions, I will invite you to pause when deemed appropriate to allow for reflection and checking in with your body sensations.
