As a marriage and family therapist, I help people to become whole, stronger and make wiser choices. I help people come to terms with disappointments in their lives and change the way they think and feel to be able to improve their relationship issues, reduce anxiety and depression among other concerns.
I see you as a whole person. Using Biblical principles integrated with proven psychological processes, including EMDR, I have helped people through anxiety, phobias, depression, trauma and relationship issues. For those who prefer not to have a Biblical perspective I draw insights from experience as well as my psychological training.
I am fully trained in Eye Movevment Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) which has proven effective in reducing PTSD and other anxieties including performance anxieties. EMDR stimulates each side of the brain to process memories. This helps put the memories into proper perspective and strengthens positive thoughts and feelings.
