I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in anxiety, depression, trauma, personal difficulties and life transitions. As your therapist I emphasize an eclectic form of psychotherapy that utilizes Attachment and Psychodynamic concepts to help you better understand your experience and develop important and necessary coping skills with the goal of a life free of anxiety, depression and trauma.
As your therapist I'll work to guide you and explore how your past experiences are affecting you and your happiness. We will work to create realistic goals and reframe your experience into a more positive one. I am in recovery from addiction myself and am in an unique position to empathize and relate to other's pain.
We all can struggle sometimes with the weight of our daily lives or be haunted by our pasts. However, we must not allow these experiences to control us or keep us from our goals. Through empathetic listening and unique interpretations you will learn to better understand yourself, develop clarity and insight--all while moving towards a brighter future.
