I treat clients who struggle with anxiety, depression and relationship problems among other difficulties. In the past few years, my skills and knowledge have been deepened in particular by discovering that our connection to others is a survival need--and a key source of difficulties. Connection is an essential source of healing and growth.
I have over 30 years' experience in the mental health field in different settings. I've dealt with many issues including relationships, anxiety, trauma, dual diagnosis (substance abuse/mental health) and depression.
As a psychiatric nurse, I've got solid knowledge about psych medications and can coordinate with primary care doctors or psychiatrists. There are suggestions I can make to improve physical health which will impact your mood and feeling of well-being...as they say, mind and body aren't separate.
