I am a neurodivergent member of the LGBTQIA+ community who has worked passionately as a therapist for over 25 years. Due to my own early life experiences, my driving motivation is to help other survivors of trauma in overcoming adversity as well as in supporting people in their process of coming out and/or transitioning. I greatly enjoy helping members of the autism community in overcoming challenges & embracing the gifts inherent in being autistic. I am licensed in NY and am currently working 100% virtually.
First and foremost, I am always working from a trauma informed base & strive to meet each individual's unique needs. There is not one formula that works best for everyone, so I always support the people I work with to identify their goals & use the techniques that work most effectively to achieve them, changing my technique to best met their current needs.
I strive to help my clients identify concrete goals and to achieve them before moving on from therapy. Clients can expect to be supported in each session with compassion and empathy and to be empowered to take the next steps in achieving wellness and reaching their life goals.
