There are many therapists. Why work with me? I’m a specialist in men’s issues with a decade of clinical and research experience. I work with men seeking relief from depression, anxiety, PTSD, anger management, grief, emotional numbness, and relationship conflict. I’m straightforward about what therapy can and cannot provide, which means I don’t make false promises. Psychotherapy in my practice is distilled into a professional and intimate relationship, where an expert asks the right questions, facilitates insight, challenges old patterns, and ultimately makes way for meaningful change. My clients trust me to be direct, knowledgeable, and completely non-judgmental. My approach is psychodynamic, a modality that emphasizes the significance of one's past experiences and relationships. I also integrate cognitive behavioral therapy when applicable. These two modalities have been demonstrated to promote short-term relief, and long-term wellbeing.
My session fee is $325. I offer courtesy out-of-network (OON) insurance filing, which often covers part of the cost. Trainees, whom I directly supervise, charge $150, and some of them accept insurance. I respond to requests within 12 hours.

This is an in-person group process for individuals diagnosed with schizophrenia. A process group is a form of therapy where participants explore their emotions, behaviors, and interpersonal dynamics in a free-flowing, unstructured format. The focus is on the interactions between group members, allowing them to gain insight into how they relate to others and work through personal issues in a supportive environment. All group members are required to have an existing relationship with a psychiatric provider.
