Sometimes life is just hard. Whether it is situational, relational, behavioral, or emotional, at times life can be plain stressful and overwhelming. My goal is to help you sort through the chaos and provide you with the tools and resources needed to create long-lasting changes. I specialize in working with adults and children/teens in areas such as depression, anxiety, trauma, relationships, grief/loss, life transitions, and personal improvement. I also specialize in working with families, couples, & parent-child relationships in order to improve communication and relational functioning.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and have my doctorate degree in Psychology. I am trained in various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Child-Parent Psychotherapy, and Motivational Interviewing.
I provide an integrated approach to treatment and believe that counseling should be individualized for each client. I find it extremely important to provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment.
