I have experience working with preteens, teens, young adults, and adults across the lifespan. I have a focus on mood disorders, anxiety, depression, substance use, and self harming behaviors. I have an extensive background in methadone and working specifically with individuals struggling with opioid use disorder. I have worked in a wide range of settings such as hospitals, outpatient clinics, jails, crisis, and group homes. Working in these different settings has helped me to experience a wide range of challenges and issues that I have helped individuals to overcome.
Reaching out for help is hard. Finding the right person that you click with can be even harder. My goal is to meet you where you are and help you to feel comfortable while discussing the uncomfortable. I aim to be person centered, strengths based, empathetic, and trauma informed when working with you.
I will hold a warm, professional, and safe space for you to be vulnerable. I will use my experiences and clinical training to help develop coping skills and decrease symptom severity. I will also help you learn how to utilize these coping skills on a daily basis. I look forward to helping you make positive, long lasting changes in your life!
