Maybe you're struggling with a tendency to isolate or hurt yourself, with self-hatred, with long-term patterns that you feel hopeless about. Every person has a unique ability to change & grow. The goal of therapy is to remove obstacles to your growth.
We will look closely at your feelings & experiences, beliefs about yourself & others, sometimes using our relationship to understand patterns in your life outside of therapy. Therapy is a lab where you can experiment with new ways of coping, thinking about yourself, and relating to others.
Feeling safe & deeply understood (or believing that you could grow towards that with your therapist, if it's something you generally struggle with) is crucial to the change process.
