If you've come here, you are in need of support, guidance and healing. In my practice, I work with people going through loss different types of losses, grief associated with those losses, as well as helping people to navigate life transitions (even positive changes can come with challenges). Never losing focus on the possibility of healing by finding meaning, I strive to provide hope, encouragement, occasional humor & steadfast support as you move toward healing and finding meaning in your life.
Everyone is unique, with different histories, patterns and needs - being able to be flexible in approach is vital. With training in EMDR, CBT, and other mindfulness-based approaches, I actively collaborate with clients to look honestly at their painful experiences and losses, and draw upon emotional, mental, and spiritual resilience to support healing.
Meditation and mindfulness, for the cultivation of steadiness, presence and insight, has been an essential part of my own life and daily practice for over a decade. I have a keen interest in the intersections between psychotherapy and spirituality, and the gifts that each of these fields can offer each other and to my clients.
