Those obstacles might be childhood trauma, anxiety, shame, intrusive thoughts, dissociation, or poor self-esteem. If you feel like your brain is going in a million different directions and don't know how to sort through it all, you will feel very comfortable working with me. I can track it all for you and help you find the direction you need to go.
I have training in several types of therapy, and together we will find the way that works best for you. We can explore somatic work, Buddhist psychology, ACT, IFS, neurofeedback or gestalt therapy, among others. If you are someone who likes a lot of structure and homework, I may not be the best fit for you. I tend to work more creatively and spontaneously.
The four walls of my office are here to keep your secrets, your shame, your imposter feelings, all the things you don't feel safe to share in the outside world.
