I work with adults and teens to navigate life transitions and manage anxiety, stress, and depression. Many of my patients have ADHD, autism, or learning disorders and as a neurodiversity-affirming therapist, I do not believe such conditions should be “cured.” Instead I offer the space to work through stresses that accompany living in an often invalidating or non-accommodating world.
My approach involves examining psychological drives and forces that underlie behavior with the goal of gaining a better understanding of the self. This often coincides with specific skill building. In the process, patients gain self-confidence and develop better ways of relating to people. I also conduct neuropsychological evaluations.
