Neurodiversity Affirming Support Groups
Each group is matched based on age, gender identity, and desired support. Each group works together to establish goals and topics, which might include supporting each other in navigating a predominantly neurotypical world, identifying internalized ableism, learning more about neurotypes, sharing tips for managing frustrations, supporting each others' experiences in school/work, and/or navigating relationships. I will ensure a safe, affirming space where clients can support each other. I will engage more or less, based on the desires of each group. I am available to provide psychoeducation, structure, and guidance based on each group's identified needs and wants.

Social Connections Groups - Elem, Middle, and High
Social connection groups for neurodivergent elementary, middle and high schoolers are a place where children, tweens, and teens can connect in the ways that are most natural for them, with peers who have similar interests and overlapping neurotypes. We’ll be using Konfident Kidz & AUsome Training’s social communication activities created by neurodivergent teachers and utilized with permission from the primary creator. In these groups we do not teach neurotypical social skills. Rather, we help kids and teens fully embrace who they are while navigating the predominately neurotypical world.
Parenting ND Kids Group
These groups welcomes caregivers of neurodivergent children to meet in a safe, therapist-guided space. Based in the relational neurosciences, this will be a place to come together to learn ways to support your children that increase attachment and connection. Caregivers will work together to decide what they’d like to cover in the group, with support and psychoeducation from the therapist. Therapists will ensure caregivers feel accepted and welcome in exploring their own emotions and experiences navigating their children’s neurodivergence, while always keeping in mind the strengths and vulnerabilities of the neurodivergent children.
