Welcome! My name is Jacque Smith, I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist working in the mental health field for over 25 years. I offer in-person and on-line psychotherapy for individuals and couples. My goal is to help people develop sustainable coping skills to deal with a variety of issues. This is the reflective safe space I offer you. It's really co-created by us, in therapy, and I hope that you find comfort in it.

My sessions are collaborative and reflective. I have helped many individual clients with chronic irritability; anxiety; depression; procrastination; lack of assertiveness and with trauma symptoms. I help couples understand their conflicts and create safer ways to communicate, negotiate and repair; to navigate parenting, neurodiversity, and empty nesting.

When you engage in psychotherapy you have the opportunity to learn about yourself, to deconstruct old messages and patterns, and practice new ways of being or relating. These new ways can be challenging to implement, and I’ll be helping you navigate this process. You are a whole person, not only your troubles, and I’m here to welcome the whole you.
