I have found through 21 years of counseling in a variety of settings that individual therapy is my niche. I'm particularly well-suited for working with adults individually, with a host of presenting issues including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, panic attacks, grief, PTSD, work stress, and adjustment to various life stressors.
I specialize in EMDR for PTSD and any trauma-related situations. EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based therapy that has been endorsed by such organizations as the American Psychiatric Association and the World Health Organization for trauma treatment. I also specialize in Christian counseling for individuals.
My practice location is right off of Lake Michigan and provides a peaceful and serene environment to engage in therapy.
