Do you have difficulty trusting your experiences and navigating how the world perceives and treats you? Are you struggling to feel comfortable in your body? Many of us learn to think and behave in unsustainable ways in order to stay safe in an unaccepting and marginalizing world. If you are struggling to break free from patterns that helped you survive in the past but are keeping you from thriving in the now, you're in the right place. I help LGBTQ+ individuals, couples and women build self-compassion and body-awareness to better understand how trauma is holding them back.
I will help you rebuild your capacity to trust and hold compassion for yourself by using trauma-informed and body-oriented approaches that are grounded in anti-oppression movements, queer and feminist theory, and Health at Every Size. My style is active and engaged. I listen deeply, ask questions, and gently challenge you to live life by your values.
You deserve to feel connected to and at ease in your body. You deserve to feel confident in your intuition and ability to advocate for your wants and needs. If you’re ready to build a fulfilling and sustainable relationship with your Self, your body, and others, I’d love to help you get there.
