Hello there. If you are at this site, I am guessing that you or someone that you know is having a difficult time. Congratulations to you for being brave enough to be able to reach out for help. People think that being happy comes naturally, but in my experience, that is not the case. It takes hard work for many of us and that generally includes therapy. We go to school to learn many different topics, but how to handle our emotions is not one of them. It should be though, as it is woven into every aspect of our life. That is what I am here to do, help you or a loved one, work through your emotions. It would be an honor.
I work with children, families, and individuals. I use art therapy, play therapy, and sand-tray therapy. I use these methods with children as a backdoor to begin communication. It isn't required, but I find therapy works much more effectively if I have family sessions in unison with the children that I see. I am also trained in trauma therapy, EMDR.
I am so sorry that you or someone that you love is in pain, but I do hope to be able to connect with you/them and begin to start the road to feeling better by providing you with tools that can assist in helping you. Warmly.
