As both an adoptee and a therapist (LICSW) specializing in adoption issues, I help adult adoptees navigate the unique challenges of our circumstances. Issues such as identity, trauma, attachment, relationships, and the lack of genetic mirroring, which can impact adoptees at various life stages. Significant events, such as the birth of a child, the death of a loved one, or a family reunion can be particularly difficult. My approach is compassionate and client- focused and together, we will work through these emotions to develop more effective coping strategies.

Adoptees have unique needs that not all therapists understand. I have dedicated my career to help adoptees understand why they experience life's challenges in a different way than non- adoptees. Life is hard enough and adoptees deserve a therapist who understands this personally.

My goal is to create a safe and nurturing environment, built with trust, where clients feel understood and empowered to address their unique needs. I help clients navigate reunion with biological family, transition into parenthood and provide resources to better understand your situation.
