As an experienced mental health counselor and art therapist, I offer the opportunity to understand and express yourself on both the verbal and non-verbal level. Integrating your personal imagery into supportive psychotherapy, we gently explore and resolve issues in creative and sometimes unexpected ways. This approach is effective in addressing life's challenges, including depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, life transitions, and creative blocks. Infertility, miscarriage and other pregnancy-related losses comprise another area of my expertise. I am the author of "Grief Unseen: Healing Pregnancy Loss Through the Arts" (London; 2006) and have guided many women and their families through the healing process.
I am also a clinical consultant to other therapists, and enjoy the opportunity to mentor colleagues, both new and more experienced. I have presented locally and nationally on the healing nature of the creative process in psychotherapy.
