Therapy is an opportunity to help people diminish pain, cope with challenges, and gain support through adverse experiences. Additionally, it challenges personal growth through insight development, compassion and attentiveness. I have 16 years of experience and my areas of expertise are anxiety disorders, religious trauma, perinatal and postpartum health, couples therapy and chronic illness. I often work with individuals struggling to cope with the day to day and who want to align their beliefs and values with the people around them; whether that's the family, workplace or a faith institution.
I utilize a variety of resources such as mindfulness, attachment work, EMDR and evidence based treatment approaches. Most importantly, I work with each client to tailor my approach to the goals and strengths of the individual. I really enjoy conducting therapy in nature and give my clients the option of walking with me on a trail or sitting outside.
