If you have recently lost a loved one or are struggling with grief from a loss that happened awhile ago or are facing your own death and need someone to provide a non-judgmental space where you can be heard, witnessed, understood, and supported, please do not hesitate to reach out to me. I will walk with you as you navigate your grief, and I will do this with an understanding that your grief is personal to you, it does not need to look a certain way or follow a pattern. Grief is something we will all face and we will all feel it and experience it in our own way. I believe in the power of grieving in community and being witnessed.
I am a trained systems counselor and also trained as a death doula. These two areas of study give me a unique perspective on grief and how I support clients. I am client focused and relational. The relationship that the client and therapist have is integral to healing. I also believe strongly in embracing our own death so we may live a much larger life.
What you are experiencing can feel isolating, overwhelming and extremely painful. I am hear to make sure that you know that you are not alone. It is true that loss never goes away, but our relationship with it changes. Though first we have to embrace our grief, feel it and become friends with it. But we are not meant to do it alone. Please reach out.
