My hope for my patients is that we are able to co-create something that allows you to discover the parts of yourself yet unknown—the strength, talents, resilience, as well as the fears, doubts and grief that make up the entirety of who you are. In doing so, I can help you to come into loving acceptance of the more ingrained aspects of your personality and work on modifying thought patterns and behaviors that are no longer serving you.
I welcome people of all backgrounds, cultures, life-experiences, and belief systems. I recognize that making the decision to come to therapy is a courageous step, and not always easy. I consider it an honor that you would trust me with your most personal information and begin walking this path. Your confidentiality will always be my top priority.
My education had a Depth Psychological emphasis, which involves working with the unconscious, archetypes and how we are undeniably connected to the collective, so there will likely be elements of that in our work together. I also strongly believe in the foundation of a person-centered and trauma-informed approach being the cornerstone of any good therapy.
