My name is Mackenzie McFarland and I am Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist located in San Luis Obispo, California. I got my education from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo for BA in Psychology and MS in Clinical Psychology. I have multiple years experience working with those struggling with substance use / recovery, mood disorders (Bipolar), anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, change of life phases, and trauma.
Within my practice, I will collaboratively work with you to finding a deeper understanding of yourself and the world around you with evidenced-based approaches. Through this deeper understanding you can begin to notice an increase in self-awareness, better self-esteem, more enriching relationships with others, and lessening of problematic feelings/behaviors
I am currently accepting new clients from anywhere in California. Sessions are offered in person for San Luis Obispo county residents or via telehealth for those farther away.
