I love working with clients who have a readiness to gain greater self awareness, and those who have a deep desire to know and accept themselves. I have a heart for working with individuals from the LGBTQIA+ community, as a member of the community myself, and deeply value the healing power of trauma work. I also love working with individuals who might benefit from a more experiential approach. I find so much value in the power of creative activities that help engage the client in effective and meaningful ways.
I take a psychodynamic approach and have been trained in Brainspotting--a tool used to process trauma and treat PTSD. I want to help people see how their past is affecting them presently, and equip them with the tools to live a healthy life. I love to work with my clients as a team to find patterns, make meaning of thoughts, and to learn new ways of being.
Most of the family systems we were born into didn't always teach us to hold space for a deep connectedness with our inner world. It is my hope that we can practice this connection with self, in order to find healing through the therapeutic process together.
