The Broken Bowl -Teens and Tweens workshop
The Broken Bowl is an expressive arts workshop to process grief and loss based on the Japanese art of Kintsugi. Kintsugi embraces the concept that accepting imperfections can allow one to create a more powerful and beautiful piece of art. The bowl serves as metaphor for accepting change and finding the growth it inevitably brings. All materials are provided and no art experience is needed. Meets Monday August 5, 2024.

Making Art from the Inside Out
Channel your creative spirit in one afternoon. This 1.5 hour class is an introduction based on the Open Studio Process. Free of any comments or critiques, participant artists can follow their own creative process without inhibition. Art making techniques are simple and user friendly, assuring that no prior skill or experience is required. The facilitator works alongside participants so that they may observe her exploring, problem solving and experimenting with her creative process through art making and reflective writing. All materials are provided. Tuesdays, April 16-May 21 -attend one or more.
