Humans do the best they can, when they can, to navigate obstacles throughout life. Sometimes the obstacles become too overwhelming and begin to change how we view ourselves and how we interact in the world. It is at this point, when the stories we tell ourselves can make an impact on our well-being and happiness. Through conversations and new skills, I will be your ally in exploring new ways to manage life's difficulties.
I've been practicing therapy for the last eight years and am a LMFT and LPC. My therapy journey has included working in behavioral health hospitals, non-profit agencies, and school-based settings. I was trained through a systemic lens, meaning to look outside the individual and see how other factors could be contributing to experiences and hardships.
My goal is to create a caring relationship based on trust and safety. I truly believe that each individual person has their own set of therapy needs.
