Do you feel nervous or anxious? Does your mind feel like a hamster wheel that never stops? If so, you are not alone, and I’m here to help. I specialize in attachment, anxiety, and mood disorders. I find that root causes of these challenges often stem from childhood attachment wounds, or relationally based trauma. Sometimes this looks like emotionally absent or narcissistic parents, or a parent who struggled with their mental health. Since mood disorders can be hereditary, I am careful to differentiate diagnosable mental health conditions from common trauma responses. My goal is to help you find relief and embrace your authenticity.
My approach is rooted in attachment theory. I help my clients learn tools to cope with anxiety, uncover the root causes of their emotional pain, and engage in deep, meaningful, long-term healing. Because many struggles are rooted in early traumas, I am trained in EMDR for those looking to reprocess and heal from the lingering effects of trauma.
As humans, we have two fundamental needs: attachment and authenticity. All too often, children forgo their authenticity to preserve relationships with attachment figures. If you want to reduce anxiety and develop more supportive relationships, leaning into your authenticity is an excellent place to start, and I am excited to support you on your journey.
