Hi, I'm glad you are here! I truly believe that every person has the ability to heal, adapt and grow. It is my goal as a counselor to help clients of all ages discover their strengths, develop healthy coping skills, and grow in resiliency as they take steps toward achieving their life goals and heal from past trauma. I look forward to learning about the life and story of each new client. I listen without judgment to the history and circumstances that bring each client to counseling. As I gain understanding of each client’s situation, I come alongside them to clarify or establish counseling goals. Then we can put in the work!
Utilizing person-centered, CBT and other techniques, I help clients identify disruptive thought patterns that have a negative impact on behaviors and emotions. I am EMDR trained to treat trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder in children and adults, which can help reduce emotional distress so people can function more fully and achieve their life goals.
I enjoy working with clients of all ages who struggle with anxiety, depression, transition issues, PTSD, parenting concerns, LGBTQ+ community issues, and relationship issues. Counseling is a place to feel heard and focus on yourself. I look forward to meeting with you, helping you learn about what you're feeling, why you are feeling it, and how to cope.
