I believe that our past experiences and significant relationships shape our present, and that the therapeutic relationship serves as a space to understand these patterns of relating and to create new, reparative experiences within a safe and trusting environment. Through curious and non-judgmental exploration of feelings, thoughts, actions, and relational patterns, we can foster increased empathy for ourselves and others. This process enhances our capacity for meaningful change and helps us to navigate challenges that arise throughout life.
I am deeply committed to holding a trauma-centered perspective, prioritizing a holistic understanding of each person and their environment. This includes exploring the sociocultural and political systems that influence a person’s identity and life experiences, inextricably connected to their emotional and relational world.
I work with pre-teens, adolescents, and adults, specializing in complex trauma, chronic illness, and eating disorders. I also offer Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP). Our sessions will focus on deepening your self-understanding, alleviating painful symptoms, and integrating new ways of being both in the therapy room and in the world.
