Sometimes, especially as a parent, you feel like you have tried everything, but yet, nothing seems to be working or helping. This could relate to a number of concerns regarding your child such as behavioral concerns, emotional concerns, school difficulties, anxiety, trauma, etc. My goal as a therapist is to create a sense of safety and trust to support children, adolescents, their families, and young adults through various challenges in their life, whether that be past, present, or future!
Play is a child's language. Through play, children are better able to communicate feelings, behaviors, needs, etc. My role is to provide a positive relationship and space where this can be achieved! I primarily use play therapy as well as other approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness. I primarily work with individuals ages 3-24.
I am here to work with you and/or your child to feel supported and better equipped in life. We all face similar as well as different challenges in life. Through connection and learning new skills, we can face these challenges effectively!
