Processing the Empty Nest
Transitioning to an empty nest comes with a slew of emotions for mothers from excitement for our children to deep sadness for ourselves, along with the loss of identity and purpose. In this empty-nester processing group, together we will explore the emotions, changes in mothering, ways of coping, and a joyful future. Four week, in-person group starting in 2023, $160 for four weeks. Group led by Kristen Hatton, LPC-Associate supervised by Kari Stainback, LPC-S. Girl Talk (Middle school peer support group)
We want to partner with parents by coming alongside middle school girls to create an environment that inspires, motivates, and cultivates confidence and self-worth. This group is ideal for girls who are struggling with anxiety, depression, confidence, perfectionism, and parent and/or peer relationship issues.
