The desire for hope in the midst of challenging circumstances is a theme for many seeking counseling. I consider it a privilege to be a part of your journey in the counseling process. We all need hope as we deal with the difficulties of life. You do not have to face the struggles of life alone. I see counseling as a process of working through thoughts, difficulties, and emotions together in order to grow, become stronger, and more confident in dealing with life.
I do a lot of work with children, adolescents, families, and individuals. I take a Christian approach to therapeutic interventions and enjoy incorporating this throughout the counseling experience. Social, emotional, mental, physical, spiritual, and financial areas are explored, as any of these areas can throw the others off balance.
A combination of solution-focused and cognitive-behavioral therapy is used to find helpful solutions to alleviate situations and address deeper thoughts and beliefs that tend to drive us. My hope is that you find hope, healing, and confidence in who you are and who Christ is in your life.
