I have worked with individuals, couples, and families for more than 20 years, helping people to become the healthy, productive people they were meant to be. Good therapy is hard work, requiring a safe environment, a trusting therapeutic relationship, and mutual respect. It can be the most rewarding work someone will ever enter into. I want to be the therapist for people who are willing to work to achieve their most desired goals, be it individual growth, compatible, productive relationships, or a more peaceful and nurturing family life.
I have been trained in anxiety treatment, including PTSD. I specialize in treating those effected by domestic violence, physical trauma, and physical and sexual abuse. Anxiety and depression harm relationships. Any human condition can be helped by sharing the story with someone else. Talk therapy really works!
I interned at a VA hospital, in an inpatient setting, for veterans with PTSD. I carried a Family Reconciliation contract with the State of Washington for years, working closely with families and troubled adolescents. I have extensive experience helping victims of abuse and trauma. I have helped people recognize and cope with anxiety and clinical depression

Life After Domestic Abuse
Once you are out of an abusive relationship, it is hard to get your feet back underneath yourself and get on with your life. Group Therapy is one of the most effective ways to gather your sense of self and strength to take the next necessary steps. Knowing that others have experienced situations similar to yours and having the freedom to talk openly about the things that you have been through can actually accelerate your healing process. The group is divided into 3 segments; 'Bonding', 'Sharing the Stories', and 'What's Next?'
