As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker practicing psychotherapy, I specialize in working with adults, adolescents, and children (ages 12 or older) who suffer from depression, anxieties, grief/trauma, social/behavioral challenges, and school problems. My approach centers around solution focused strategies where I place an emphasis on the strengths of my clients. I stress the importance of involving any/all supports in the therapeutic process and I am committed to the helping and healing of the whole family.
With my Masters in Social Work from Columbia University, I have been afforded the opportunity to help adults, children, and their families for the past 28 years in various settings including, but not limited to, a psychiatric rehabilitation center, social service agencies, and schools.
My strongest asset is my ability to listen/support even the most multi-layered life challenges. I have a great ability to connect with people and meet them where they are. If you're looking to heal from complex trauma or you just need a few sessions to get "unstuck", I'm confident I can help you feel better and give you useful tools.
