Clients are from different cultural backgrounds and experiences that have been challenging such as coming from difficult childhoods. They are resilient and seek to learn new ways of coping as they continue to grow. I also provide EMDR, Accelerated Resolution Therapy and Brainspotting for the treatment of trauma.
I am passionate about empowering clients within minority or marginalized communities. I also have insight about clients who identify in the LGBTQ community, Asian-American and first-generation experiences (intersections of identity). My approach can be described as culturally-inclusive, compassionate, attuned, and reflective.
