You’re not just burning the candle at both ends; your candle is completely engulfed in flames! You’re overwhelmed, exhausted, and you can’t keep this up much longer. You have so much to do that you can’t afford to take a break, but sometimes your brain just switches off and you realize you’ve been staring blankly at your computer screen for twenty minutes. You feel like you’re slowly drowning, but no one else sees it… I feel you! Whether you’re suffering from chronic fatigue, ADHD, Autistic burnout, the mental load of managing a household, or just the normal everyday stressors of late-stage capitalism, I can help.
Who am I? I'm a neurodivergent, disabled TCK with a dark sense of humor, and I often swear in session. I’m empathetic but direct, and I won't push you to quit drugs or “unhealthy” behaviors. Because of my many ADHD clients, I offer flexible rescheduling and guilt-free cancellations, and (unlike most therapists) I don’t discharge folks for spotty attendance.
I’m gender-affirming, neurodiversity-affirming, fat-affirming… Noticing a trend? In addition to ACT and CBT, I also offer Written Exposure Therapy (WET) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for PTSD, CBTi for insomnia, and the Values-Based Integration Process (developed by Heather Morgan) referenced in the popular book Unmasking Autism by Devon Price.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy is a great therapy with a terrible name. It's not about accepting a sucky life or committing to work out; it's about making space for your unwanted thoughts and feelings so they can't control you anymore, and committing to what's most important to you (NOT anyone else). Really, it's about steering more intentionally towards the life you actually want to live.
